'Cool Season' is often anything but between 11am and 5 pm, because it is sunny and often over 30 centigrade. Nights ok though. Like Shado, i prefer the overcast, cooler days.

Re: A fine Udon Thani morning
I have to admit that I love the cool season for about 3 days then I'm wishing I had central heating! After a couple of weeks I'm praying for heat. Can never find the socks I bought last cool season because the wife's family have all their clothes and probably most of mine on at the same time. You would swear they are going on a South Pole expedition, with my socks! It's cold, falang need socks too.
Guess I've been here too long.

That was short lived. wish it would do that once a day every day. we'd never have to water anything and have a nice green lawn..... ++)(* Takes Ree about an hour to water just the wall and plants. Screw the lawn in dry season, that would take forever.

You're not located too far from our humble abode. I don't think it even clouded up here. I believe Udon Thani (and neighboring areas) must have the most localized rain patterns I have ever witnessed.Beatus wrote:the skies just opened up and a major, much needed downpour. big contrast from morning orange glow of sunrise. ++)(*

that's for sure. bright and sunny again. it was coming down rather hard, 15-30 minutes of that, and udon city would have the usually flooding.
